[Update: Attorney Bill Barbour retired in late 2018 and he is no longer practicing law.] Mr. Barbour was engaged full-time in the practice of law in Guilford County since 1981. His private practice was in Greensboro until December 2005, at which time he opened the Oak Ridge office. His undergraduate degree is from Western Carolina University in business administration. He graduated from the Cumberland School of Law, Samford University, in 1981. His areas of practice included general practice, wills, real estate closings, foreclosures, collections, probate and administration of estates, small business incorporation and related matters. He is a past member of the Oak Ridge Planning and Zoning Board and the Oak Ridge Ordinance Review Committee.  He and his wife Pam have two grown children and a new grandbaby.

Tracy Williams is an attorney and managing member of the firm. She enjoys guiding clients through the process of probate administration from start to finish. She also assists clients with estate planning, including the preparation of Wills and Trusts, Powers of Attorney, and Healthcare Powers of Attorney. The firm handles trust administration and prepares trust accounting paperwork for Trustees in need of assistance. After working with Bill Barbour for several years, Tracy now also practices in the areas of contracts, small business incorporation, some general practice matters, and some real estate.  She feels honored to have had the privilege of learning from Mr. Barbour, with his vast legal experience accumulated over thirty years of law practice.  

 

Tracy is a member of the Merchant Association of Oak Ridge and the North Carolina Bar Association. She graduated summa cum laude from Elon University School of Law. Originally from Greensboro, Tracy moved to Oak Ridge in 1997. She enjoys living and working in the Oak Ridge community. Tracy has two beautiful children, who have always provided the inspiration to keep her moving in a forward direction.  She also has one very adorable miniature schnauzer, who holds a special place in her heart.

Valerie Richmond joined the law office in May of 2007 to assist our clients with real estate matters, estate planning, uncontested divorces, incorporations, debt collection, and general practice needs. With over 12 years of experience as a paralegal, you are assured your legal needs will be met in a timely and efficient manner. Valerie graduated with honors from the College of Charleston with a B.S. in Biology and at the top of her class from Southeastern Paralegal Institute in Nashville, Tennessee. She and her husband love calling the Oak Ridge area their home and have two grown children.
